I think you are putting a little too much effort into it all. This the internet and to be honest with you everyone is entitled to there own opinion. I think you didn't realize how hurt many people were by your comments per se. I was one of them. I am not here to judge you. I am always not here for someone to tell me my daughter is not worth, what a normal white child would be because she is mixed. The world is changing. I am not here to judge. I know that in Tennesse it is very segergated. I understand that. I think if you had the chance to see these couples interact and their families interact you would change your mind. haha, silver. that's very true. glimmer, i didn't see the story you posted; but if you did write something that was racist and you learned from it, then maybe EP helped you out. the beauty of EP is all the different points of view that come together. it can get messy at times, but it can also be a very wonderful thing. i, myself have learned a lot from here, and continue to learn. i hope it helps you too.

Glimmer its all a learning experience don't allow your past to deciate who you are. I read your post and for the some part you seem like a funny, warm, person. You might learn more about yourself and others by learning of different cultures and values. I was in the US military my ex husband is black we were stationed there, mind you I am mixed already Puerto Rican and Itailian. This man ask my ex if he wanted to buy me something @ the fair mind you he had just brought me a huge Pooh Bear, anyway the man became angry because he didnt want anything called me a bytch and my ex husband a nicc@ that was not called for then proceeded to call us Puffy and Jlo. So with that said I took the lemon aide I was drinking and pour it all over him, mind you this guy is close to 360 lbs. So he went to smack me and my ex through a metal garabage can @ him. I know it wasn't rite for us to get physical but it also wasn't rite for him to disrespect us and our relationship. Although we are not together he is a great father and I will always love him for that.

Myspace is alright so long as you stay on your own page. You can blog anything you want and not be attacked for it. I like that part of myspace.

Its fun and interesting learning about other cultures and being a part of other peoples' lives. I'm seeing just how close-minded I've been all these years. I'm learning about myself and others too. EP is very rewarding. I plan to stay.
